Cristiano Ronaldo is popular on Facebook

Cristiano Ronaldo has become the first non-American to get 10 million fans on Facebook.

The Real Madrid hunk - who is dating model Irina Shayk, 24 - crossed the milestone yesterday.

Cristiano, 25, announced on his Facebook account on 3 July that he had fathered a son with an unnamed woman.  

He plans to bring up his love child - who's been named after him - with the help of his mum Dolores.

Lady Gaga, 24, has the record for the most Facebook fans for a living celebrity - she has 15 million 'friends' on the site.
