Ricky Whittle has been found not guilty of dangerous driving.
The ex-Hollyoaks star was accused of intentionally driving his car at photographer Stephen Farrell in the early hours of 27 November 2009 in Liverpool.
But a jury at Liverpool Crown Court has cleared Ricky - who denied the charge - after a 3-day trial.
'It's been nine months of hell,' says the 30-year-old. 'I'm so glad it's over...
'It's a situation I want to move on from. I want to move on to the next part of my career.'
Ricky was the runner-up on Strictly Come Dancing last year.
