Ayda Field: Robbie Williams proposed to me using playing cards

Singer Robbie Williams got down on one knee during game

Robbie Williams and Ayda Field have been together for 3 years

Robbie Williams proposed to Ayda Field using a deck of cards.

The Take That singer, 36, took out the 4 queens from the pack and scribbled the words 'Will', 'You', 'Marry' and 'Me?' on them in black marker.

'Then he dropped on to one knee,' explains Ayda, 31. 'I said "Yes".'

Robbie says he wanted to propose with cards because it's how he realised he was in love with Ayda.

'When we first started going out, this weird thing would happen,' he says. 

'When I had a deck of cards - I would split up the pack and always come up with the queen of hearts.

'Because I'm into mysticism, it filled my heart and made me stop worrying about whether I was with the right person.' 

Robbie and Ayda exchanged vows in front of 60 guests at their Beverly Hills home on Saturday. 

'He is going to be the best husband in the world,' she tells Hello!

'He's my best friend, my soul mate.'

Robbie and Ayda have been together since 2007.
