Cheryl Cole back in recording studio after malaria scare

Cheryl Cole is feeling a lot better

Cheryl Cole has returned to the studio for the first time since her battle with malaria.

The Girls Aloud singer worked until 8pm on Monday at an LA sound stage.

Cheryl, 27, then went back yesterday to continue recording her second album. 

'She booked the studio for a week, though she'll see how many days she can manage,' a source tells the Daily Star.

'But she is not the sort of person to lie in bed waiting to get better...

'Cheryl is really geared towards making it in the US and feels well enough to push on.'

Cheryl is on holiday in the States with rumoured boyfriend Derek Hough, 25.
