Lady Gaga thanks fans for 13 MTV VMA nominations

The pop sensation is up for a huge amount of awards

Lady Gaga earns a massive 13 MTV VMA nominations

Lady Gaga has earned a staggering 16 nominations for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.
 
13 of the nominations are for solo performances, with a further three nods for her collaboration with Beyonce in Video Phone and Telephone.
 
The singer, 24, walked away with three VMA gongs last year and has been praised for her No 1 album The Fame Monster.
 
Eminem, Kesha and Justin Bieber are also up for a selection of awards including Best Male Artist and Best New Artist.
 
‘13 VMA noms lilmonsters. Breakin records+breakin rüles. I love you, you Bad Kids are a part of me. PAWS UP!' Lady Gaga has Tweeted after hearing the news.
 
The MTV VMAs host is yet to be announced, last year Russell Brand took to the stage and it was during the after-party he was first spotted kissing fiancée Katy Perry.
