Alex Reid 'doesn't feel that Katie wants him'

Jordan not interested in quickie after wedding blessing

Katie Price and Alex Reid became man and wife in February in Las Vegas

It was clear as far back as Alex Reid and  Katie Price's wedding blessing on 3 July that all wasn't well.

As cameras followed the pair's every move for their reality show Katie & Alex: For Better, For Worse, Alex was seen begging his bride to touch his groin and make a swift exit for a quickie.

While many newlyweds would jump at the chance, Katie refused.

Her close pal Melinda Messenger even felt the need to get involved by trying to coax Katie into spending some, ahem, ‘alone time' with her husband, but her attempts appeared to fall on deaf ears.

On their honeymoon in Thailand, Jordan, 32, took an unprovoked swipe at Alex, 34, when he mentioned that the first thing he wanted to do was exercise, instead of wanting to ‘rip her clothes off'.

Alex quickly snapped back that he'd been trying to make a move since they'd jumped in their car en route to the hotel but was faced with her preferring to be constantly on her phone, only interested in talking ‘about crap back home'.

On more than one occasion, it's clear Alex wanted to act like loved-up teenagers. Instead, his attempts were met with excuses including ‘everyone's looking'.

It's not the first time that Jordan's slapped a sex ban on her relationship. In fact, it seems as though history's starting to repeat itself, as this is exactly what happened during her four-year marriage to her ex-husband Peter Andre.

And we all know what happened there. Sex in a marriage is pretty crucial.

‘This is really starting to get Alex down,' says our source. 'He wants to feel that she wants him in that way.'
