Gisele Bundchen believes there should be a ‘worldwide law' that all new mothers should breastfeed their babies.
The model says breast milk is the best form of nutrition for newborns.
‘Some people here think they don't have to breastfeed,' says Gisele.
'I think, "Are you going to give chemical food to your child, when they are so little?"
'There should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months.'
Gisele, who credits regaining her figure to breastfeeding, gave birth to her son at home and apparently managed to meditate throughout labour.
‘It prepared me mentally and physically,' she tells Harper's Bazaar. ‘It's called "labour", not "holiday" for a reason, and I knew that.'
Gisele, 30, and husband Tom Brady welcomed their son Benjamin in January 2010.
