Big Brother contestant John James has managed to trick Josie into believing that Dolly Parton is his mum.

The Aussie hunk, 24, shares the same surname as the American singer and convinced Josie that Dolly Parton abandoned him at the age of three.

Josie burst into fits of laughter at first, but then started to fall for John James' fib as the pair lay in bed together.

'I'm gonna wet myself,' giggled Josie, 25.

'I'm being deadly serious,' John James told her.

Josie then began to believe the unlikely confession and was embarassed when John James told her that he'd made it up.

'I can't believe I fell for that,' said Josie.

'I'm so gullible.

'I've just realised what a really, really good liar you are.'
