Katie Price 'just can't let go of Pete'

Katie Price married Alex Reid after being dumped by Peter Andre

Katie Price has quit her music career after her single sold a paltry 3,000 copies and a friend of Peter Andre's tells Now that he's not exactly sympathetic about her pop flop.

‘She can't be a success at everything and Pete said she should stick to her day job,' says the friend.

‘It's good that she was humbled. I'm not going to lie - Pete wishes her well as the mother of his kids, but was a little bit chuffed that Katie's 
tried the music thing and failed.'

Katie, 32, still cares deeply about her ex's opinion and that's something that baffles new husband Alex Reid.

‘He sometimes looks at things very simplistically - the penny just hasn't dropped,' reveals Katie's friend.

‘He gets that 
she harbours some resentment because she was dumped by Pete, but he naively thought that making her Mrs Reid would 
put an end to all that.

'She just seems to be incapable of truly letting go of Pete.'
