Samantha Ronson visits Lindsay Lohan in jail

DJ spends hour at prison

Samantha Ronson dated Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan got a visit from ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson in jail yesterday.

The DJ spent an hour with the actress, 24, at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California. 

Visiting hours for family and friends are usually on weekends, but prison officials have made an exception for Lindsay for security reasons.

Her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley also turned up at the jail yesterday.

'She's good,' she tells People. 'She's doing better every day.'

Lindsay is being kept in a special segregated unit as she serves her 90-day sentence for violating the terms of her probation from a 2007 case.

She is expected to be released in 2 weeks because of overcrowding.
