Kelly Osbourne: I thought I'd be dead by now

Rock chick is glad she's managed to turn her life around

Kelly Osbourne called off her wedding to Luke Worrall last week

Kelly Osbourne never thought she'd be alive at the age of 25.

The rock chick was addicted to prescription painkiller Vicodin in her teens. 

'Five years ago I thought I'd be dead, or real close to it, by now,' explains Kelly.

'It's one of those things where other people's tragedy brings it home. 

'The amount of people who have died this year alone from the same stuff I've done is scary.' 

Kelly, 25, split from fiancé Luke Worrall, 20, last week after he allegedly cheated on her.

They announced their engagement in November 2008.
