Aussie John James's mum Helena reckons it's about time her son puckered up with Josie in the Big Brother house.

The nurse from Melbourne reckons the housemate is just the kind of woman he needs.

'I think to myself: "Oh, John James, for God's sake if you like the girl, do something about it!"' she says.

Helena believes a romance between Josie and John James would prove to the sales rep - and other girls who don't look like Barbie dolls - that they're still hot.

'I could cry for her, I really could,' she admits. 'I'd love to seee him with her.'
