Frank Lampard warns Christine Bleakley: Make Peace with Elen

TV presenter's left in shock as the footy star insists they get the blessing of his ex

With reports that she's just weeks away from becoming engaged to Frank Lampard, it's no wonder that loved-up Christine Bleakley, 31, is barely seen without a smile on her face these days.

But there's a new threat to her happiness: Frank's insisting that she extend an olive branch to his ex Elen Rivas before they even think about walking down the aisle.

Now can reveal that Frank, 32, feels he can't take his relationship with Christine to the next level until he's confident that she and Elen, 35, the mother of his daughters Luna, four, and 
Isla, three, can get on.

‘Frank's desperate to introduce Christine to Elen and the girls before he moves in with her,' reveals our source.

‘He thinks it's crucial that both women get on for the sake of the kids.'

This is the clearest indication yet that Frank, who's been dating Christine since October, is seriously considering proposing before the end of the year.

‘Christine's so nervous,' our source says.

‘She knows how important Elen is and she knows she has to make a good impression, but she's petrified about how Elen will receive her.'

Elen and Frank's seven-year relationship ended in February last year amid claims that he'd cheated on her.

‘Even though Elen instigated the break-up and knows Frank only met Christine after they split, it still hurts her to see photos of them so happy,' our source adds.

‘But Frank's hopeful that they'll get along. He'd never introduce just anyone to his family, but Christine isn't just anyone. He waited until he felt she'd be in his life for a long time to come.'
