Footballer says he's just enjoying himself

Ashley Cole returned to the UK from holiday on Friday

Ashley Cole has rubbished reports he's bedded a string of beauties since splitting from wife Cheryl. 

The Chelsea hunk has just returned from holidaying in LA, where he was snapped partying with students Melissa Naik and Elle Hartley, both 20. 

Ashley, 29, insists nothing happened with the girls. 

'I'm just trying to enjoy myself,' he tells the Daily Star. 

'People are thinking I'm sleeping around and romping with women. It's all lies. 

'These girls' lives are being ruined by this whole thing.'

Cheryl, 27, dumped Ashley following allegations he cheated on her with a string of women. 

He has not visited her while she's been battling malaria.
