Paris Hilton was questioned by police in Corsica on Friday on suspicion of possessing marijuana, claims a French media outlet.
The heiress, 29, was released without charge to continue her holiday, according to the Agence France-Presse.
But Paris, 29, has now set the record straight about claims she was arrested on Twitter.
‘Just to put an end to these rumours,' she writes.
‘The stories saying I have been arrested are completely false! I am having the best vacation of my life...
‘Now let's move on. Everyone focus and enjoy their own summer time!'
Earlier this month, sniffer dogs targeted Paris and her pals after the Brazil v Holland World Cup football match in South Africa and she was 'temporarily' detained by the police.
'Paris Hilton was questioned today by police in South Africa on allegationsof smoking marijuana,' publicist Dawn Miller said in a statement after the incident on 2 July.
'The incident was a complete misunderstanding.'
