Amy Winehouse and ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil had a destructive bond.
Married on 18 May 2007, they split in April 2008 while Blake was in jail for assault and perverting the course of justice. But both of them seemed unable to let go.
‘She's the love of my life,' Blake, 29, admitted in 2010. ‘We were best friends from the start.'
Last month Blake, who now haa a son with fiancée Sarah Aspin, was jailed again for burglary and possession of an imitation firearm.
But Sarah claims Amy - who had a tattoo of Blake's name above her left breast - was still trying to cling on to him.
'She needs to keep her hands off him. He is mine and we are a family now. I've had enough of her thinking she can click her fingers and get him back whenever she wants,' Sarah, 31, told The Sun.
'She phones him when she is really out of it (drunk) and her texts are even signed off "your wife".'
A rep for Amy, who was found dead at her Camden home at the age of 27 yesterday, denied the allegations, insisting it was Blake who was calling the star.
'She's had to change her number. He has been calling her more than 10 times a day,' the spokesperson said. 'He uses a mobile (cell phone) in jail.'
