Tess Daly: Vernon likes me with no make-up on

Strictly Come Dancing host says husband is always paying her compliments

Tess Daly and Vernon Kay have been married for 6 years

Tess Daly has revealed Vernon Kay prefers her make-up free.

The Strictly Come Dancing host says her husband is always telling her how beautiful she looks. 

'He knows girls like compliments,' explains Tess.

'We all like to be noticed if we've made an effort. But he actually likes me with no make-up on. He likes me au naturel!'

In February, Vernon, 36, publicly apologised after it emerged he had sent saucy texts to five women.  

The Family Fortunes star and Tess, 41, are parents to Phoebe, 5, and 13-month-old Amber.
