Courteney Cox: I've had couples therapy with David Arquette

Friends star admits she still has arguments with husband

David Arquette and Courteney Cox have been married for 11 years

Courteney Cox has revealed she's had marriage counselling with husband David Arquette.

The couple tied the knot in June 1999 but the Friends star admits they still have their ups and downs. 

'We've done couples therapy in the past,' says Courteney, 46.

'We're not lazy about our marriage. We have the same arguments we've had for years.'

Courteney says the sessions have helped them move past their disagreements.

'Some things just never change,' she tells InStyle.

'You should realise that the intriguing things you fall in love with will probably become the things that you don't like and the very things that you'll be talking about for the rest of your relationship...

'One thing is, I let David be himself and he lets me be myself. You have to make an effort to stay connected, and that's something we work at.'

Courteney and David, 38, are parents to Coco, 6.
