Coleen Nolan: I'll retire within the next 5 years

Presenter wants to spend more time with family

Coleen Nolan was married to former EastEnders actor Shane Richie

Coleen Nolan plans to quit showbiz before she's 50.

The Loose Women star, 45, wants to make the most of her time with husband Ray Fensome and daughter Ciara, 9.

'I'm hoping that, because I'm working ridiculously hard and have been for 3 or 4 years now, that when Ciara hits her teenage years I can be at home,' says Coleen. 

'I want to retire to be with her.'

Coleen doesn't want Ciara to have as difficult a childhood as she did when she was touring the world with The Nolans. 

She had a secret abortion after getting pregnant when she was just 16. 

'You teenage years are the hardest part of your life, because everything's changing,' explains Coleen. 

'I think they need you and I'm hoping that when that happens I can be with Ciara.' 

Coleen is also mum to Shane Jr, 22, and Jake, 17, with ex-husband Shane Richie, 46.
