Kerry Katona facing new threats as Mark and nanny unite

Kerry Katona's dealt a major blow as Mark Croft convinces her nanny to tell the truth

Kerry Katona is currently going through a messy divorce from ex Mark Croft

In the arms of new boyfriend Adam Waldron, Kerry Katona seems intent on proving to the world that she's not a volatile woman in a panic over her future.

But the reality is that the troubled mum of four is facing a major nightmare.

In a bid to aid his very public divorce battle with the disgraced star, Kerry's ex Mark Croft has got their former nanny Gemma Storey to write a warts-and-all account of her tumultuous time working for them.

‘Mark will do anything to get back at Kerry and is calling Gemma his secret weapon,' reveals Now's insider. 

Gemma appeared in the Channel 4 documentary Kerry And Me, filmed at the reality star's lowest point in February. Gemma was seen in the kitchen with Kerry who was bouncing off the walls, high on drugs.

Speaking to the kids, Gemma said: ‘It'll be alright. Mum will come down to our level soon.'

Last week Kerry, 29, showed how desperate she was to prove that she's changed, skipping down the street hand in hand with her mum Sue and new man Adam, 33, in what appeared to be set-up shots.

But according to our sources, Kerry should brace herself for further damaging revelations.

‘All Gemma cares about is the welfare of the children,' says our source. ‘She's bound by confidentiality, so anything she's forced to say is in the interest of the kids.'

The former nanny is also likely to spill details that confirm 39-year-old Mark's belief that he's more stable than Kerry. Gemma will back up his claims that whenever she took the weekend off, he'd have to take control of the house because Kerry was unable to.

‘Kerry treated Gemma as a dogsbody,' says another source. ‘She'd ask her to get her takeaways and even buy pregnancy tests for her when she was trying for a fifth child.

‘After all her benders, Kerry became so paranoid stories of her life would leak out that she'd constantly accuse Gemma of selling tip-offs to the press.

'Gemma was really hurt by that after everything she'd put up with and by that point she'd had enough.'
