Singer said to have been dating Eric Johnson since May

Jessica Simpson was married to singer Nick Lachey

Jessica Simpson is reportedly seeing former American footballer Eric Johnson.

The couple are said to have been on a series of dates since May.

'[They are] very happy,' a source tells TMZ.

Jessica, 29, was married to Nick Lachey and has previously been in a relationship with John Mayer. 

Eric, 30, filed for divorce from wife Keri in February.
