SHOCK! Cheryl Cole collapses during shoot

The X Factor judge ordered to rest by doctors

Cheryl Cole was not injured

Cheryl Cole reportedly fainted during a photo shoot at a north London studio on Saturday.

Doctors were immediately called to the scene and told The X Factor judge, 27, she had collapsed because of severe exhaustion.

'She was only out for a few seconds but it was enough to give everyone, including Cheryl, a massive scare,' a source tells The Sun. 

Tests later revealed Cheryl had a gastroenteritis bug.  

She has been ordered to take complete rest until she recovers and has had to pull out of recording The X Factor auditions. 

'Following doctor's advice Cheryl Cole will be cancelling all work commitments for the next week,' reads a statement from her rep on Twitter. 'No further comment.'

She split from husband Ashley, 29, earlier this year.
