Mel Gibson accused of using racial slur during row with ex

US site claims to have heard recordings

Mel Gibson and Oksana Grigorieva have a daughter together

Mel Gibson is alleged to have used racial slurs and made threats during a row with his ex-girlfriend.

US site RadarOnline claims it has heard recordings of the alleged outburst aimed at Oksana Grigorieva, the mother of the Hollywood star's 8-month-old daughter Lucia.

Mel's spokesperson has declined to discuss the reports.

‘I have no comment on, and furthermore no knowledge of, the credibility or authenticity of any alleged audio tapes,' the rep tells People.

In 2006, Mel, 54, launched a tirade about Jews at police officers when he was arrested for drink-driving.  

He split from Oksana, 40, in April.

Her lawyers also declined to comment.
