Model's hair missing on side of head

Naomi Campbell was discovered at the age of 15

Naomi Campbell has been pictured with what appears to be a bald patch just above her ear.

The model accidentally exposed her receding hairline when she pulled her locks back during a photo shoot in New York this week.

Naomi, 40, has used straight extensions over her natural hair for a number of years.

But experts claim this may have damaged her follicles. 

'It looks like traction alopecia, hair loss caused by the use of extensions,' specialist Marilyn Sherlock tells the Daily Mail. 

Naomi is dating Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin.
