Singer goes for edgy yet girly style

Britney Spears has a flirty dress sense

Britney Spears is releasing her first clothing collection.

The singer has teamed up with US brand Candie's for the limited-edition range.

It will feature dresses, sweaters, jeans, trench coats, jewellery and accessories.

‘My personal style is a mix of comfortable and flirty,' Britney, 28, tells InStyle.com.

‘I used a lot of studs and lace because I wanted to make the clothes cool and edgy yet girly.

‘I also love jeans, so I had to make sure there were some great pairs in the collection.'

The range will be available exclusively from US store Kohl's and kohls.com from 1 July.

Britney - who has been the face of Candie's since 2009 - has also shot a series of print, TV and online commercials to promote the line.
