Slumdog Millionaire star says he's not ready for marriage

Dev Patel and Freida Pinto played soul mates in Slumdog Millionaire

Dev Patel has rubbished rumours he's to marry girlfriend Freida Pinto.

US publications have claimed that the Slumdog Millionaire co-stars are engaged.  

'No, no,' explains Dev. '[When I heard the rumours] I was like, "What? The wedding plans?" I'm 20.'

Dev admits he still feels uncomfortable talking about his relationship with Freida, 25.

'It's a bit tricky,' he tells Access Hollywood. 'I don't know what to tell everyone because it's my private thing.

'But it's part and parcel of the industry so you just learn to get over the awkwardness and just play with it.'
