Martina Navratilova gets cancer all-clear

Tennis legend has completed her treatment

Martina Navratilova completed her treatment last Wednesday

Martina Navratilova has successfully battled breast cancer.

The former Wimbledon champ was diagnosed with the disease in February.

But, after a lumpectomy and a course of radiotherapy, Martina, 53, has now been given the all-clear.

‘I think I had 27 or 28 treatments over 6 weeks,' the tennis star tells The Sun.

‘It's like a 6-week prison term, there's no freedom and every day is a reminder.

‘But I was very lucky. I dodged a bullet, a big one. It was a wake-up call, no doubt about it. Hopefully it won't come back.'

Martina - who completed her treatment last Wednesday - was runner-up to Joe Swash on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! last year.
