Couple have been inked with Sanskrit text on arms

Katy Perry debuted her tattoo yesterday in New York

Katy Perry and fiancé Russell Brand have new matching tattoos.

The couple - who got engaged in India on New Year's Eve - have both been inked with Sanskrit text on the inside of their right arms.

The tattoos read Anuugacchati Pravaha, meaning Go With The Flow.

Katy, 25, debuted her design while performing at Times Square in New York yesterday.

Russell, 34, showed his skin ink off on the front cover of this month's Rolling Stone magazine.
