Konnie Huq almost falls on her face break dancing

Ex-Blue Peter host struggles to stay upright on her high heels

Konnie Huq could have been injured

Konnie Huq narrowly avoided crashing to the floor while attempting to break dance in her heels yesterday. 

The former Blue Peter host was trying to entertain the contestants at The X Factor auditions in Birmingham with her moves. 

But Konnie, who has just got engaged to media wit Charlie Brooker, unwisely kept her towering heels on, meaning that she struggled to stay upright.

The 34-year-old stopped short of landing on her face by using her hands to prop herself up.  

Fortunately, Konnie saw the funny side and quickly got up to her feet.

She has taken over from Holly Willoughby, 29, as presenter on ITV2's The Xtra Factor.
