Britain's Got Talent judge is shocked by Ronan's separation

Amanda Holden's just finished judging on the panel of Britain's Got Talent 2010

Amanda Holden has revealed how schocked she is about Ronan Keating's alleged cheating.

Ronan, 33, recently separated from his wife of 12 years, Yvonne Connolly, after it was reported he had a 7-month affair with a backing dancer.

'I really like Ronan and got on well with him when we presented Celebrating The Carpenters on ITV last year,' Amanda, 39, tells Fabulous.

'He seemed to adore his wife. Yvonne looks like a strong and proud lady - I don't blame her for making him bag his bags, but I hope they can work things out.

'Ronan went through a very dark time when Stephen Gately died last October, and, while that's no excuse for an affair, I think he maybe lost his way a bit.'
