Singer refused entry by Home Office

Chris Brown got five years' probation for his assault on Rihanna

Chris Brown has had to to postpone his UK tour after being refused permission to enter the UK.

The singer was scheduled to play three concerts, starting in Glasgow on Wednesday, but his visa was denied by the Home Office because of his conviction for a serious criminal offence.

Chris, 21, was sentenced to 6 months of community labour and a year of domestic violence classes for assaulting Rihanna in February 2009, hours before the Grammy Awards.
