Miley Cyrus is currently in the UK promoting single Can't Be Tamed

Miley Cyrus is defending the fake lesbian kiss she has now performed twice in the UK.

The star, 17, pretended to snog a female backing dancer on stage during the Britain's Got Talent semi-final and again at London's G-A-Y club on Saturday night.

'I promise you I did not kiss her and it is ridiculous that two entertainers can't even rock out with each other without the media making it some type of story,' says Miley.

'I really hope my fans are not disappointed in me because the truth is I did nothing wrong.

'I got up there and did my job which is to perform to the best of my ability.

'I just want to put an end to this right now and just say one thing to everyone out there making this performance such a big deal.'

The teenager's outfit at G-A-Y was definitely a show-stopper. Miley's stretchy cut-out dress resembled a mini with suspenders. The perfect look for a bit of mock girl-on-girl action.

'GET OVER IT! NOTHING HAPPENED,' Miley writes on her blog.

'THERE ARE WAYYYY MORE IMPORTANT THINGS IN THE WORLD.'
