Carol McGiffin: Ronan Keating should have kept it in his pants

Carol McGiffin is engaged to Mark Cassidy who is 22 years her junior

Carol McGiffin is horrified by the thought of Ronan Keating cheating on his wife for seven months with a backing dancer.

The Boyzone star allegedly had a lengthy affair with backing dancer Francine Cornell, 26.

'We discussed it on Loose Women last week,' says Carol.

'Coleen Nolan said everyone is human and we all make mistakes.

'How can it be a mistake?

'How can seven months of subterfuge be a mistake?'

Carol, 50, thinks Ronan deserves the scathing media attention he's had since the claims surfaced.

'If Ronan didn't want to be exposed, humiliate his wife or take a battering from people like me then, quite simply, he should have kept it in his pants,' she rants.

Ronan, 33, has been married to Yvonne Connolly, 33, for 12 years.

They are parents to Jack, 11, Marie, 9, and Ali, 4.
