Peter Andre: I believe in long marriages but I failed

The proud dad is sorry his traditional values weren't upheld

Peter Andre puts on a brave face

Peter Andre married for life and he never dreamt that his 4-year union with Katie Price would be declared officially over in September 2009.

The singer still wishes that he and Jordan could have worked it out.

‘Not having a successful marriage is a regret,' he says.

‘My mum and dad were married 55 years so I come from a family that believes in long marriages.'

Pete, 39, never wants to talk about the details of his split from Katie.

'I don't ever want to. I don't think I need to. Time has moved on, everyone's moved on,' he says.

'I don't need to prove anything or say anything to anyone and I hope I never have to.'
