The Easy Rider legend revealed that he was battling prostate cancer in October last year.
Dennis, a renowed hell-raiser, passed away this morning at his home in Venice, California.
The actor, a father of 4, married 5 times and was in the middle of a divorce from 5th wife Victoria Duffy, 32 years his junior, when he passed away.
