Rapper looks unrecognisable in new images

50 Cent usually has a muscular physique

50 Cent has shed a whopping 4st for forthcoming movie Things Fall Apart.

The rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, plays an American football player who is diagnosed with cancer in the film. 

He lost the weight by going on a liquid diet and spending 3 hours a day on the treadmill for 9 weeks.

'I was starving,' says Fiddy, who posted snaps of his new look on his official website.

In the snaps, 50 Cent looks totally unrecognisable from his more muscular days. 

'I've been eating,' he adds. 'I'll be back in shape in no time!'

Things Fall Apart will be released next year.
