Simon Monjack is laid to rest in LA

Simon Monjack was living with Brittany Murphy's mum Sharon after her death

A funeral was held for Brittany Murphy's widower Simon Monjack in LA yesterday.

Over 75 mourners gathered at the Chapel Of The Hills for a private Jewish service before he was buried next to the actress at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park.

Brittany's mum Sharon led tributes to Simon.

‘It was Simon's wish to be laid to rest next to Brittany,' spokesman Roger Neal tells People.

‘Sharon was very strong and spoke and about how much she loved Simon, and how now Simon and Brittany are together. She told them "I'll miss you my babies."'

Sharon found Simon, 39, dead on Sunday at his LA home from a suspected heart attack.

Brittany, 32, died from a cardiac arrest - caused by pneumonia - in December.
