Judge orders Lindsay Lohan to wear alcohol-monitoring bracelet

Actress will also have to take weekly drug tests

Lindsay Lohan has been ordered to wear a SCRAM alcohol-monitoring bracelet on her ankle.

The actress appeared at an LA court yesterday as part of a progress review related to a drink-driving case from 2007.

Judge Marsha Revel also forbade Lindsay from having any booze and ordered her to take weekly random drug tests and continue attending alcohol education courses.

The LA District Attorney's office has indicated that it will seek a 6-month jail term for the 23-year-old if she violates the conditions.

‘[She] is prepared to demonstrate by action that she's going to comply with all court orders,' says her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley.

Lindsay is due back in court on 6 July, reports People.

She voluntarily wore an alcohol-monitoring bracelet in 2007 following her DUI arrest.
