Ronan Keating: The 'secret texts' and the stress of building a house

Singer admits the pressure on his marriage has been 'awful' at times

Ronan Keating's alleged affair with blonde Boyzone backing dancing Francine Cornell, 26, came to light when wife Yvonne discovered texts on a secret mobile phone, it's claimed.

Francine and Ronan worked together on tour last year.

Distraught Yvonne, 36, has now been snapped without her wedding ring visiting the luxury home outside Dublin that she and Ronan have had under construction.

'We're building a house at the moment and I have to say it's probably the most stressful thing we've ever done in our relationship, ever,' Ronan admitted before the couple's split after 12 years of marriage.

'It's really hard work and it's an awful, awful situation. I really can't wait till it's all over!'

Boyzone manager Louise Walsh is convinced that Ronan and Yvonne can save their relationship and the singer is reported to be repentent.

'Ronan is deeply ashamed of what he's done. He has vowed to honour the gigs this weekend. But he's cancelled all other engagements to try and make it up to his wife,' a source tells The Sun.

'He has been to see the priest. He is really worried what his close family will think. He feels like he's let everyone down.'

Ronan, 33, and Yvonne, 36, met as teenagers and married when the singer was just 21. The couple are parents to Jack, 11, Marie, 9, and Ali, 4.

A spokesman for Ronan declined to comment on the reasons for his marriage split.
