Gabriella Cilmi: I almost cried when I met John Travolta

Singer was starstruck

Gabriella Cilmi is a big fan of John Travolta

Gabriella Cilmi was almost reduced to tears when she met John Travolta.

The starstruck singer was introduced to the actor at the Australian Grand Prix in March.

‘My most embarrassing moment [was] meeting John Travolta and nearly crying in front of him,' Gabriella tells Now Online.

'I got introduced to him by the mayor before I sang and that was quite scary.'

Gabriella, 18, later found it hard to concentrate during her performance at the racing event.

‘I'm a massive John Travolta fan,' she explains. 

'I felt really emotional. I was singing the national anthem at the Grand Prix and he was waving the flag.'

Gabriella Cilmi releases new single Hearts Don't Lie on 7 June. Her album Ten is out now.
