Will.i.am charters helicopter to get to Cheryl Cole gig

Black Eyed Peas star parties with The X Factor judge at Cannes Film Festival

Cheryl Cole and Will.i.am duetted on her single 3 Words

Will.i.am chartered a private helicopter so he could get to a Cheryl Cole concert in time on Tuesday night. 

The Black Eyed Peas star, 35, flew from the World Music Awards in Monte Carlo to the Cannes Film Festival, where The X Factor judge was performing at Hotel du Cap at the exclusive Eden Roc resort.

Cheryl, 26, was paid a whopping £250,000 for the 30-minute show - in which she sang 6 songs - by organisers de Grisogono.  

After the gig, Will.i.am hit the decks for a DJ set. 

Cheryl joined him in the booth and they were seen kissing on the cheeks as they greeted one another. 

She split from footballer husband Ashley, 29, in February following allegations he cheated on her.
