This Morning explains Holly Willoughby's 'Nazi salute' gaffe
This Morning bosses have played down a gaffe by Holly Willoughby yesterday where she appeared to give a Nazi salute.
The presenter made the gesture while using the Star Wars catchphrase: 'May the force be with you.'
Some viewers were offended and critised Holly in online forums.
A rep has now explained that the 29-year-old was thinking of another fantasy movie.
'She muddled her film references, mistaking the actions for Superman with a line from Star Wars,' a spokesman tells the Daily Record.
