Mariah Carey doesn't panic in a crisis

Mariah Carey became a real life fire-fighter at a gig yesterday when she put out flames that engulfed the stage.

The singer didn't panic and acted quickly.

‘In Egypt getting ready to go on stage and suddenly there was a surge of power and an electrical fire started under my feet! WTF?!' Mariah, 40, wrote on her Twitter.

‘Naturally, my emergency instincts kicked in and I put out the flames with a towel. Lol (yet true).'

Mariah renewed her wedding vows with husband Nick Cannon last month.
