Charlotte Church: Gavin won’t accept the new me

The warring pair are at loggerheads as Charlotte’s career takes off

Charlotte's relationship with Gavin is under stress

Charlotte Church and fiancé Gavin Henson's 5-year relationship is being threatened by Gavin's growing jealousy over Charlotte's successful career comeback as a judge on BBC1's Over The Rainbow.

‘Gavin and Charlotte are having so many clashes over being unable to balance their time together and her new-found fame,' a friend of the singer tells Now.

‘It's been a swift transition for both of them from the last couple of years when they were doing very little. Gavin really liked having her at home with their kids Ruby [two] and Dexter [one].

‘He's having difficulties adjusting to the new Charlotte.

'He tells her he loves her how she is, then makes digs she's getting too skinny, that her face looks gaunt and he wants her boobs back.'

Gavin faces a future alone because Charlotte has made no secret of her plans to spend as much time as possible promoting her album in the States when it's released.

‘She's told Gav she thinks this album will be huge and she wants to go to the US for as long as it takes,' says our insider.

‘They're both great parents but Gavin's worried about how this might disrupt the children. The rows just keep on coming.'

Charlotte's spokesperson confirmed she and Gavin are spending time apart, but denied they're having problems.
