Fire said to have broken out in cockpit

Ashley Olsen was a child star

Ashley Olsen was left fearing for her life on Sunday when the pilot of a plane she was on had to make an emergency landing. 

The Full House actress was travelling to LA from New York with actor boyfriend Justin Bartha on a United Airlines flight when a fire reportedly broke out in the cockpit. 

The plane had to land at Washington Dulles International Airport, according to publicist Phil Lobel. 

Passengers were later rebooked on other flights. 

Ashley's rep confirms to E! Online she and Justin were on the flight and are now safe.
