Denise Van Outen has posed for pictures with daughter Betsy

Denise Van Outen and Lee Mead have released the first picture of their newborn daughter Betsy.

In the photo, the proud parents are seen cuddling their little girl, who takes after her dad with dark hair.

Denise gave birth to Betsy at 12.24pm on Saturday.

She weighed a healthy 7lb 10oz.

Denise, 35, married Lee, 28, in the Seychelles last year and they plan to share Betsy's care.

'I want to be a hands-on dad,' says Lee. 'I'll be
changing nappies and supporting Denise in any way I can...

'She will be an amazing mum.'

At Denise and Lee's request Now Magazine has given a donation to The Louis Dundas Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital in return for this photo.
