Denise Van Outen: Being a new mum won't stop me working

She's not going to take it easy after birth

Denise Van Outen and Lee Mead welcomed new arrival Betsy on 1 May

Denise Van Outen is keen to return to work after giving birth to baby Betsy.

Her little girl was born on 1 May at 12.24pm.

'I am going to be a good mum but I will be going to work, too,' says Denise.

'I have been doing it since I was seven years old, it's in my blood.

'I will never give it up.'

Denise's husband Lee Mead, 28, is about to star in the West End production of Wicked.

'Lee will be around during the day a lot,' Denise, 36, tells The People.

'Our little girl can be looked after by her parents most of the time which works out perfectly.'

Denise and Lee got married last year.
