Singer says her good looks get in the way of career

Katherine Jenkins is dating presenter Gethin Jones

Katherine Jenkins admits there are drawbacks to being so hot.

The singer reckons her good looks stop her from being taken seriously. 

'It's hard being beautiful,' says Katherine, 29. 'It can work against you.

'It creates a certain lack of credibility that can be annoying sometimes.'

But Katherine - who is dating TV presenter Gethin Jones - credits her sexy look with helping her climb the pop charts.

'They worked miracles for me in the crossover world,' she tells News Of The World.

'You need to be seen there.'
