Michelle Heaton stretchered away after London Marathon

Singer in tears at the finishing line

Michelle Heaton finished the London Marathon in 5 hours and 29 minutes

Michelle Heaton was tended to by medics after completing the London Marathon yesterday.

The Celebrity Big Brother star was in tears as she was stretchered away by St John Ambulance.

Michelle, 30, later revealed on Twitter that the 26 mile run had taken its toll. 

'Well we did it,' she wrote.

'It took me over 5 hours and I crossed the finish line with exhaustion and heart flutters...

'Needless to say never again!'

Michelle was taking part in the London Marathon as part of Richard Branson's celebrity team.

She ran alongside Ricky Whittle, Natalie Imbruglia and Jenni Falconer.

Michelle raised over £7,000 for Kids Company and Rathbone.
