Rachel Stevens: I want to act in a real drama

Rachel Stevens is keen to have a go at a BBC drama and stretch herself as an actress.

Now pregnant at 32, she'll soon be a busy first-time mum but doesn't intend to give up work.

'I'd love to do something like a drama,' she tells Now Online.

'A Passionate Woman with Billie Piper, something like that would be brilliant to get stuck into, a real drama.'

But Rachel, who has previously acted in the S Club 7 series and Deuce Bigalow, says that she won't be moving away from her singing career completely.

'My main focus is music, really, but I'd love to do some acting.

'If the right project came about then definitely.'
